We at Certified Marine have extensive training in all aspects of marine engine/boat repair our lead technician has had three years of training at accredited trade schools achieving Certified levels on Mercury, Mariner, Force, Mercruiser, Johnson, Evinrude among others, and has attended over 30 specialty schools.such as Verado, Optimax, four-stroke engines, Mercruiser sterndrive and inboard DTS systems.

International DYNO® Marine Dynamometer is a "closed" hydraulic system capable of fully "loading" marine outboard and sterndrive engines for diagnostic and performance tuning and testing. Precise adjustment of "load" and measurement of output are possible throughout the engine's entire RPM range. The DYNO can duplicate most on-the-water situations right in our shop.

Why is Load Testing an Engine so Important?
An engine’s operating characteristics are completely different from no-load (static) running than they are during loaded (dynamic) running. It would make sense that you should do your tuning and troubleshooting on an engine that is comparably loaded to actual on-water conditions. May customer complaints do not show up on an engine operating with no load.
